OUR QUAKERS

Quakers are known for their cute mischievous personalities. They
wild quakers form flocks and in captivity they like to be a part of their
family "flock" as well. These birds enjoy times out of their cage and
on a shoulder of one of their family members.
In captivity quakers come in a variety of colors including green, blue,
cinnamon, pallid green and blue, yellow, and even white.
Quakers are very adaptable, and can survive in very cold climates.
There are several colonies of wild quakers in the United States. Wild
quakers have been known to cause damage to crops and are
banned in several states. Please make sure quakers are allowed in
your state before you purchase one. Quakers are illegal in California,
Hawaii, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, and Rhode
Island.
At Beaks and Paws we raise green, blue, pallid green, and pallid blue
quakers.
